The Emerging Innovation in Northern Europe Programme

The Emerging Innovation in Northern Europe Programme is a Nordic initiative to strengthen Nordic-Russian co-operation, capacity building and networking among Nordic and Northwest Russian innovators through a comprehensive programme of seminars, lectures, workshops and study visits.

The aim of the programme

  • Promote and support the exchange of experiences and knowledge in the sphere of innovation between Northwest Russia and the Nordic countries, in order to generate new ideas and innovation in the Baltic Sea Region;
  • Establish new contacts and cross-regional networks of innovators to facilitate co-operation.
  • Stimulate new cross-regional investments and ventures.
