To answer these questions, the Nordregio Forum is arranged twice a year. The Nordregio Forum is an interactive seminar with a focus on contemporary issues and knowledge fields where we invite important actors and external experts in a dialogue. The aim is to explore the selected issues from various angles to establish complementary perspectives.
The Nordregio Forum is valued as a useful and enjoyable way of obtaining external perspectives and feedback on research themes and methods covered by Nordregio. The Forum is an event that fosters inspiration among the entire Nordregio research staff and a high level of interest and engagement from outside experts.
Every summer, the Nordregio Forum focuses on practitioners and policy makers. The focal points here are the challenges, realities and trends that clients and users of our research results face. The selected topic is usually viewed from conceptual, policy and business perspectives.
Every winter, the Nordregio Forum has an academic focus. It is essential for promoting innovation in our research fields and strengthening our academic networks. We are continuously sharpening our leading edge skills in quantitative and qualitative analyses.

Territorial Capital – a broad concept that explicitly or implicitly occurs in many of Nordregio´s projects.
