Nordregio welcomes two new staff members.

Lisa Hörnström, Research Fellow and Veera Lehto, Research Assistant started at Nordregio 1st of March

Lisa Hörnström, starts at Nordregio 1st of March as Research Fellow. Lisa has for the last four years been a PhD student at Department of Political Science, Umeå University. Lisa’s PhD thesis focuses on the analysis of how public and private actors in northern peripheral regions perceive changes in the role of the region in the political system.

Veera Lehto starts at Nordregio 1st of March as a Research Assistant. Veera holds an MSc in Planning Geography (2010) from University of Helsinki. Veera has a special interest in urban and regional development and traffic planning.
